Meet the staff of the Mille Lacs SWCD

We are a team of talented professionals to help you with your conservation needs.

District Administrator
Susan Shaw

I have a degree in biology and I’m passionate about people and our impact on this blue green orb that we inhabit with so many plants, insects and animals. I’ve worked for the ML SWCD since 1999. I truly believe everyone has the capacity to recognize how their decisions impact the welfare of others, the environment, and can grow in their capacity to make decisions for the common good. When I’m not at work you’ll likely find me taking care of my “zoo” of pets, building or repairing something on the hobby farm, adventuring outdoors or laughing with friends.
