Susan Shaw
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and have worked with the Mille Lacs SWCD since 1999. My work centers on supporting informed decision‑making that promotes environmental stewardship and community wellbeing. I am committed to helping individuals understand the impacts of their actions and to fostering thoughtful, responsible resource management. Outside of work, I spend my time caring for my animals, working on projects around my hobby farm, enjoying the outdoors, and connecting with friends.

Ashley LaRoque
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and a PhD in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in freshwater fish ecology. I am most certainly a fish nerd, but I love any opportunity to talk about water resources. I am excited to work on a collaborative team and engage with individuals from all backgrounds. I look forward to advancing conservation efforts while maintaining and continuing to develop strong public relationships. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me outside hiking, fishing, or exploring. If I have to be indoors, I’ll likely be cooking a new recipe. I am also an avid reader and love the escapism that a good fiction book can provide. I am exceptionally passionate about conserving our freshwater resources and am excited to join the Mille Lacs SWCD team!

Pam Kuhn
Pam has extensive experience in Soil and Water Conservation, managing financial records such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and grant tracking. She supports the District Administrator and Board of Supervisors, ensuring efficient operations. With a background rooted in agriculture, Pam grew up on a farm and now lives on a dairy farm with her partner, Jason. She balances her professional expertise with a love for the outdoors, enjoying farm work, mowing the lawn, time with friends and family, and relaxing by the lake. Pam’s financial skills and passion for farming reflect her dedication to both her career and her loved ones.

Molly Clyne
I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biological Sciences with an ecology emphasis. I am passionate about making science more accessible to everyone. Here at the Mille Lacs SWCD, I have two main focuses: community outreach and forestry programs. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, reading, playing video games, and spending time with my husband and our animals.

Siena Storm
I have a Bachelor’s in Wildlife Biology and have worked for a variety of organizations in and out of Minnesota. I’m excited to be in a position where I can help my community and the environment. With the Mille Lacs SWCD I specialize in agriculture. In my free time I like to read, draw, and get outside.
