Heavy Use Area Before and After.
This site has a 4,000 square foot roof that runs straight into a feedlot area. The water created harsh wet/muddy conditions within the feedlot. The excess water flowed out of the feedlot caring nutrients with it.
Next to the building is a trench drain system. The water comes off the roof and runs through the rocks to a drain tile. The tile pulls the clean water away from the feedlot area and outlets into a wetland area. This reduces the amount of nutrients being pulled out of the feedlot area with the excess water.
The cement heavy use area is used where the cattle get access to their water.
